From Happy Valley To Nashville: Alum Shows Penn State Pride Through New Country Song
Tyler's a Nashville-based country artist originally from the garden state. He wonders why NJ's called the garden state since he never saw a garden growing up. Speaking of growing up, he just released a song called That's How We Grew Up about his time at Penn State. He loves Penn State. Someone should tell him he graduated. After college he moved west to LA and played his music in SoCal. Surf's Up! He moved south to Nashville (even though it's technically north of LA) in 2018. He's written hundreds of songs since moving to music city, an appropriately named place he's decided. He's performed all over town, and across the country from LA to NYC. Influenced by the wordplay of Old Dominion and the sentiment of David Nail, he prides himself on catchy melodies with nostalgic and optimistic lyrics. He considers himself a jack of all trades, master of pun. And his friends say he's a nice guy.
